Central Executive Transfers Ltd
Last updated: May 2026
Central Executive Transfers Ltd ("CET", "we", "us", "our") is a private hire and executive chauffeur company based in Sheffield. We are licensed to operate private hire vehicles in accordance with applicable local authority licensing requirements. By booking a journey with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us (by email, WhatsApp, or through our booking system).
2.2 You are responsible for providing accurate pick-up and drop-off addresses, flight or train details, passenger numbers, and any special requirements at the time of booking.
2.3 CET reserves the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
2.4 For airport transfers, we strongly recommend providing your flight number so we can monitor live departure and arrival information.
2.5 Short-notice bookings (less than 24 hours before pick-up) are accepted subject to availability. Please call us directly rather than booking online where possible.
3.1 All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
3.2 Quotes are provided in good faith based on the information supplied at the time of enquiry. If a pricing error or misquote is identified prior to the journey taking place, we will notify you of the correct fare as soon as possible. You will then have the option to accept the revised price and proceed with the booking, or cancel and receive a full refund of any amount already paid. The journey will not be carried out at the incorrect price.
3.3 Prices are fixed at the time of confirmation unless the route, vehicle requirement, or other booking details change materially after confirmation.
3.4 Additional charges may apply for: waiting time beyond the included grace period; route deviations requested by the passenger (charged at our prevailing per-mile rate); tolls, congestion charges, clean air zone or ULEZ charges; and parking fees incurred during the journey.
3.5 Payment may be made by cash or card as agreed at the time of booking. Corporate account clients are subject to separate billing terms agreed in writing.
3.6 Outstanding balances must be settled as agreed. CET reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices.
3.7 Bookings made on UK bank holidays (including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day) may be subject to a surcharge. You will be informed of any applicable surcharge at the time of booking.
3.8 For certain bookings (including Rolls Royce and luxury vehicle reservations, large group bookings, and long-distance journeys), CET may require a deposit at the time of booking. The deposit amount will be confirmed to you in writing. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation within the timeframes set out in Section 10, unless CET cancels the booking, in which case any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
4.1 For outbound airport transfers, we recommend allowing sufficient time for traffic, check-in, and security. CET accepts no liability for missed flights where adequate travel time was not allowed.
4.2 For inbound airport collection, our standard complimentary waiting period is 60 minutes from the confirmed landing time (or actual landing time where we are monitoring your flight). Waiting time beyond this period will be charged at our standard waiting rate. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before any additional charges are applied.
4.3 If your flight is delayed, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the revised arrival time at no additional charge, provided you or your party notify us as soon as practicable.
4.4 If a flight is cancelled, the provisions in Section 10 (Cancellations) shall apply.
4.5 Where included, your driver will meet you in the arrivals area with a personalised name board unless otherwise agreed. Any significant last-minute changes to flight details, diversions, or port changes must be communicated to us immediately.
5.1 When you book a vehicle category, you are booking that category of vehicle, not a specific make, model, or colour. CET will always endeavour to provide the vehicle type confirmed at the time of booking.
5.2 CET reserves the right to substitute a vehicle with one of equal or greater standard where necessary to ensure service continuity. Where reasonably practicable, we will notify you of any such substitution in advance.
5.3 CET may subcontract a booking to a trusted third-party licensed private hire operator where necessary. Where a subcontractor is used, you will be notified prior to your journey wherever possible. CET remains responsible to you for the booking.
5.4 All CET drivers hold valid private hire driver licences issued by the relevant licensing authority. All vehicles are licensed, insured for hire and reward, and maintained to the required standard.
5.5 Drivers will select the most efficient route based on current traffic conditions unless you request a specific route in advance.
6.1 Requests for child seats must be made at the time of booking. Please state the age, height, and weight of the child so the correct seat type can be provided.
6.2 CET will make every effort to accommodate child seat requests but availability cannot always be guaranteed. Failure to provide a child seat where one was not confirmed will not constitute a breach of contract.
6.3 If you bring your own child seat, you are responsible for installing and removing it safely and for ensuring it complies with UK child seat regulations. Any damage caused to the vehicle by your child seat may be charged to you.
7.1 Guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are always permitted and must be declared at the time of booking.
7.2 Other animals are not permitted in our vehicles without prior written agreement. Where agreed, any soiling or damage caused will be charged to the passenger.
Gratuities are not included in our quoted fares and are entirely at the discretion of the passenger. There is no obligation or expectation to leave a tip.
9.1 Passengers are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner toward our drivers and vehicles at all times.
9.2 CET operates a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy in all vehicles.
9.3 Consumption of alcohol or food is not permitted in our vehicles without prior written agreement.
9.4 Passengers who are visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour poses a risk to the driver, vehicle, or other passengers, will be refused travel. Our standard cancellation policy will apply in such cases.
9.5 The driver may terminate a journey without refund if a passenger's conduct poses a risk to safety or causes distress to the driver or other passengers.
9.6 Any damage caused to a vehicle by a passenger will be charged to the responsible party, including soiling, spillages, and breakages. A minimum cleaning charge applies.
9.7 All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times where provided.
9.8 The maximum number of passengers must not exceed the licensed capacity of the vehicle booked.
10.1 Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time: no charge.
10.2 Cancellations made between 12 and 24 hours before pick-up: 50% of the total fare (including any extras) may be charged.
10.3 Cancellations made within 12 hours of pick-up: the full fare (including any extras) may be charged.
10.4 No-shows (where a passenger cannot be located and does not make contact within a reasonable time): the full fare will be charged.
10.5 CET reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to vehicle breakdown, severe weather, driver illness, or events beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund will be issued or an alternative vehicle sourced where possible.
10.6 Amendments to bookings (including date, time, or destination changes) are subject to availability and any applicable price difference.
For full details, see our Cancellation Policy.
11.1 CET will not be liable to pay compensation or be in breach of these terms as a result of any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, accidents involving third parties, civil unrest, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism, natural disasters, fire, or pandemic restrictions.
11.2 In such circumstances, CET will notify you as soon as practicable and make reasonable efforts to find an alternative solution.
12.1 CET carries appropriate public liability and hire and reward insurance for all journeys.
12.2 CET is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including road traffic, adverse weather, accidents, or acts of third parties.
12.3 CET accepts no liability for missed flights, trains, or other onward connections as a result of delays, regardless of cause. Passengers are responsible for ensuring sufficient travel time is allowed.
12.4 Passengers travel with their luggage at their own risk. CET accepts no liability for loss or damage to luggage unless caused by our proven negligence. All luggage should be placed in the designated luggage area of the vehicle.
12.5 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13.1 Any items left in our vehicles will be held securely for a reasonable period. Reasonable efforts will be made to return lost property, but we accept no liability for items not claimed.
13.2 A fee may be charged for the return delivery of lost property.
14.1 If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible. We ask that complaints are submitted within 7 days of the journey taking place.
14.2 Complaints can be submitted by email to our business address. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and provide a full response within 10 working days.
15.1 We collect and process personal data in order to fulfil your booking and communicate with you regarding our services, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
15.2 We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with sub-contracted drivers or operators where necessary to fulfil your journey, and they are only permitted to use it for that purpose.
15.3 We do not store card payment details. All card transactions are processed securely through our payment provider.
15.4 For full details of how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
